Semarang, July 28, 2025 – Young people are an important asset in the progress of a nation. This belief is firmly held by Rizki Kurnia Widi, an alumnus of the D4 Information and Public Relations Study Program at the Diponegoro University Vocational School. As a Co-Founder of Langit Muda Foundation, Rizki actively contributes to developing a non-profit organization focused on innovation, training, and creating sustainable job opportunities for young people, particularly in the Purwokerto area and its surroundings.
As Co-Founder, Rizki is responsible for ensuring the foundation’s vision is carried out effectively, designing training programs in the field of education, and establishing strategic partnerships with various parties. His role extends beyond conceptualization to include practical implementation on the ground.
In addition to being active in the foundation, Rizki also serves as the Operations Manager at Gultik Gatsoe and is a freelance crew member at Bojana Event Organizer. Previously, in 2022, Rizki participated in a Government Internship program in the Public Relations and Protocol Division of the Central Java Provincial Secretariat, and in 2023, he worked as an Assistant Media Analyst at the same agency. He also completed an internship at PT Laksana Bus Manufaktur in the Marketing Communication and HRD & Training divisions. Rizki’s organizational experience is also strong, including serving as Head of the Organizational Development Unit of the Student Association and being active in the Purna Paskibraka Indonesia Banyumas community.
Rizki shares his story about how consistency during college became an important foundation in building his career.
“The lesson I learned when I started a business or anything else is consistency. That is the key to achieving our desired goals. Along with consistency is how we can adapt to field conditions, and equally important is innovation, because building a business requires innovation or a unique selling point that sets us apart from other similar products or services. I also always learn how important communication is in everything,” Closing his story, Rizki gave a message to his juniors in the Information and Public Relations Study Program.
“My hope for my juniors is that they always maintain consistency in every process and are able to achieve their dreams. Stay enthusiastic, humble, consistent, and careful in reading opportunities and taking advantage of every chance that comes your way. Don’t be afraid to make mistakes, because that is part of the process of self-development. Always uphold integrity, especially when collaborating with stakeholders, because integrity naturally fosters trust. Keep moving forward, growing, and developing.”
