Yogyakarta, November 3, 2025 — The Information and Public Relations (Inhum) Study Program at the Diponegoro University Vocational School established a strategic collaboration with the Public Relations and Marketing agency Cornellia & Co on Monday (3/11) in Yogyakarta as a step to strengthen collaboration in the field of public relations, which will later be implemented through an industry-based Teaching Factory (TeFa) in the field of communication. This collaboration aims to enhance the quality of vocational education that is practical, adaptive, and aligned with the needs of the business and industrial sectors (DUDI).
Cornellia & Co is a PR and marketing communication agency that focuses on strategic communication services for various sectors, ranging from corporate, personal branding, to the hospitality industry such as hotels and tourism services. The agency is known for its creative, data-driven approach that is relevant to digital communication trends, making it a strategic partner for institutions and brands that need professional image management and communication strategies.
During a visit to the Cornellia & Co office, the UNDIP Vocational Inhum Study Program team discussed opportunities for developing a Teaching Factory, which includes the involvement of industry practitioners as mentors, the development of project-based learning modules, and the implementation of collaborative activities such as project-based internships, workshops, guest lecturers, and the production of real PR campaigns for clients. This Teaching Factory model is expected to integrate direct practical experience into the learning process, so that students acquire professional skills that are relevant to industry standards.
Director & Founder of Cornellia & Co, Dr. Ayu Helena Cornellia, B.A., M.Si., welcomed this collaboration plan and assessed that strengthening the link and match between campuses and industry is the key to the success of vocational education. “The Teaching Factory is the right learning approach to prepare vocational students to have practical competencies and be ready to compete in the world of work. We are open to collaborating with the Information and Public Relations Study Program at UNDIP in providing impactful and sustainable industry-based learning,” she said.
Through this collaboration, the UNDIP Inhum SV Study Program affirms its commitment to providing learning that not only focuses on theory but also emphasizes professional public relations practices in the real world. This collaboration is expected to produce a structured and systematic Teaching Factory program that provides students with real work experience in the Public Relations and Marketing Communication industry.
