SEMARANG – A proud achievement has been made by the Vocational School of Diponegoro University (SV Undip). A total of 10 first graduates from the D4 Information and Public Relations Study Program (Inhum), class of 2019, successfully passed the 2025 Civil Servant Candidate (CPNS) selection (2024 intake). Of these, eight came from the Archival concentration and two from the Public Relations concentration.
The alumni were accepted into various government institutions, including the Provincial/District Secretariat, the Department of Population and Civil Registration, the Supreme Court of the Republic of Indonesia, the Regional House of Representatives Secretariat, the Library and Archives Office, and the Ministry of Public Works and Housing (PUPR).
The Inhum study program, established in 2019, offers three main concentrations: Archival, Library Science, and Public Relations. The success of its first graduates in passing the CPNS selection reflects the program’s curriculum relevance and readiness to meet labor market demands, particularly in this era of digital transformation.
One of the graduates, Yahya Muhaimin, was accepted into a Provincial Secretariat after undergoing a selection process that included identifying suitable positions, registering, and intensive preparation for the SKD and SKB tests. He believes that a combination of effort, strategy, and family support was the key to his success.
This achievement demonstrates that the Inhum Program at SV Undip is capable of producing competent human resources who are ready to compete in both the public and private sectors.
