The highlight of the 2022 Inhum Film Festival with the theme “Rapsodi in Lens” was held on Saturday (28/10/2022) in a hybrid manner at the Diponegoro University Vocational College Building and also through a zoom meeting. The Film Festival, which was initiated by the Information and Public Relations Study Program at Diponegoro University, was attended by 140 participants with more than 50 works.
The 2022 Inhum Film Festival is an event held in collaboration with the Information and Public Relations Study Program at the Undip Vocational School with the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology, Semarang City Government and Huion BIC. This event presented several speakers, namely Edi Suwardi as a representative for the Head of the Alif Working Group of the Indonesian Ministry of Education and Culture, Research and Technology, H. Ganjar Pranowo, S.H., M.I.P as the Governor of Central Java, Kadar Lusman S.E as Chair of the Semarang City DPRD who was able to attend the FFInhum 2022 event, Mr. KC Leong as Director of Huion Southeast Asia, Bara Adhyaksa as sales & marketing manager of Huion BIC Indonesia, Nidhom as Founder of Indos Studio and Omah Obah and Iwan Gardiawan who works as directors in various films, and Didit Agus Triyono, M.I.Kom as moderator.

Edi Suwardi as the Head of the Indonesian Ministry of Education and Culture Research and Technology Alif Working Group, said that film is an important element that accompanies the cultural achievements of a nation where the challenge is not only seeking profit but how the film can influence the audience with presentations that are educative, moral, responsible by not eliminating its primary function in entertaining. The obligation to advance national film is not only the responsibility of the government, but cooperation with various parties, one of which is society, especially the younger generation with all their creativity and creations, of course, the film industry really needs. Therefore, to support the creative character of the young generation, the rectorate of film, music, and media is collaborating with Information and public relations students at the Diponegoro University Vocational School to carry out the 2022 Inhum Film Festival and with this event it is hoped that this will become a forum for appreciation and creation for this generation. especially in Indonesian cinema.

The event was opened by the Dean of the Diponegoro University Vocational School, Prof. Dr. Ir. Budiyono, M.Sc. In his remarks, he said that students must be able to get closer to the business world which is expected to create work-ready students and Dr.Ir.Budiyono is very supportive of holding this national-scale event which is of course very proud of the Diponegoro University vocational school and the Inhum 2022 Film Festival has there are many benefits because films can understand that there is an influence of films on a person’s personality and moreover the 2022 Inhum Film Festival which is on a national scale can influence the image of the Indonesian nation, educate the spirit of nationalism, religion, manners so that creative ideas are needed to produce films or short films for form a young generation who have global souls.

The winners of the 2022 Inhum Film Festival have 3 categories, namely the winners for the top 3 in the competition, the winners for favorites, and the winners for the best poster and script.

1st winner short film – Konfigma with the title 1000 Days Without Crying in Heaven
2nd winner short film – Sigma with the title Rotation
3rd place short film – Kaskau Production with the title Golek Gawean

The Favorite Champion was won by “Nightmare Production” with the title Mending Turu

Best Poster and Script Winners:
The best poster – Picking up Dusk from the Remas team
The best script – Ibu and Damar Kurung from the Genz Production team

All winners were given the opportunity to impress a message and were then awarded a certificate and grand prize. Main prizes given: Winner 1st place short film gets a cash prize of IDR 5,000,000, – Huion RTS300 and also an e-certificate. The 2nd place winner gets a cash prize of IDR 3,000,000, -, a Huion artbook and also an e-certificate. The winner of 3rd place short film will receive a cash prize of Rp. 2,000,000, -, a Huion artbook and also an e-certificate. The Winner of the Favorite Champion will receive a cash prize of IDR 1,000,000, – Huion RTS3000, and also an e-certificate. For the best script and poster winners, each will receive a cash prize of Rp. 500,000, -, a Huion artbook and also an e-certificate. For all participants who take part in the competition as well as the peak event of the Inhum Film Festival, they will also receive an e-certificate.
