Semarang – The Department of Information and Culture, Vocational School of Universitas Diponegoro, organized a Socialization on the Independent Accreditation Agency (LAM) Instrument as an initial step in preparing for the re-accreditation of its study programs. The event was held on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, at the 4th Floor Meeting Room, Building A, Vocational School, Tembalang.
The activity was attended by the Head of Department, Heads and Secretaries of Study Programs, lecturers, and educational staff within the Department of Information and Culture, which consists of the Information and Public Relations Study Program and the Applied Foreign Languages Study Program. The session featured Dr. Yanuar Luqman, S.Sos., M.Si., a lecturer from the Department of Communication Science, Universitas Diponegoro, who also serves as an assessor for LAMSPAK (Independent Accreditation Agency for Social, Political, Administrative, and Communication Sciences).
The socialization aimed to provide an explanation of the accreditation instruments used by LAMSPAK and a comprehensive understanding of the latest accreditation assessment standards in order to achieve an “Excellent” accreditation status.
The materials presented covered assessment indicators, the preparation of supporting documents, and strategies for meeting accreditation standards to enable the study programs to achieve superior accreditation results. The discussion and Q&A session was actively participated in by attending lecturers, particularly regarding the technical aspects of the re-accreditation instruments.
Through this socialization activity, the Department of Information and Culture at the Vocational School of Universitas Diponegoro demonstrates its commitment to improving academic quality and governance in vocational education. It is expected that all lecturers and educational staff involved will gain aligned understanding in preparing the re-accreditation documents in a planned, systematic, and sustainable manner, in order to maintain excellent vocational education quality that remains relevant to industry needs.
